About this role
The Administrative Court of Appeal in Stockholm is the largest of Sweden's four administrative courts and also serves as the country's Migration Court of Appeal. The court is beautifully and centrally located on Riddarholmen in Stockholm, employing approximately 200 staff, of which around 140 are legal professionals. The organization consists of four adjudicating departments, a case administration department, and an administrative unit. The court handles about 20,000 cases annually and has approximately 600 different types of cases, allowing for significant variation in daily work.
**Job Responsibilities**
As a court administrator, you will belong to the court's case administration department and participate in the administrative processing of cases, from the moment a case is received by the court until it is resolved. This includes registering information and documents related to the cases, managing correspondence between the parties, summoning parties to hearings, and monitoring deadlines. You will also issue judgments and decisions.
The role of a court administrator is both responsible and varied. It involves extensive contact with parties, lawyers, authorities, and the public, both in writing and by phone. A significant part of the job consists of providing service related to case management. You will work closely with your colleagues. As a court administrator, you will receive training and continuous professional development by handling and discussing the various issues that arise in the court's diverse types of cases. You will collaborate with reporting lawyers and experienced judges.
**Qualifications**
You should have completed secondary education and have experience in qualified administrative work, preferably from a larger organization. Experience in the public sector, either governmental or municipal, is advantageous. Additionally, if you have paralegal training or other relevant post-secondary education, this may be considered a merit. You must be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written communication. Oral and written communication in English is also required. The administrative case management is now almost entirely digitalized, so it is important that you are accustomed to working digitally.

**Employment**
The position is located in the court's registry and is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period. Individual salary setting applies. Start date will be agreed upon. Selection and decisions regarding employment will occur continuously.
