Estimator

We are seeking a Lead Estimator for a public entity within the aviation and infrastructure sector. This is a consulting assignment. The work location is Stockholm. The scope of the assignment is estimated to be 50–70%, but can be adjusted as needed. The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork. **The Assignment** The role of Lead Estimator entails leading the estimating team and acting as the "single point of contact" for the project. The Lead Estimator is responsible for internal coordination and ensuring that participating estimators possess the required competencies. **Responsibilities** - Ongoing work with early estimates - Complete feasibility estimates for at least two scenarios (with support from other experts) - Coordination regarding estimating issues - Design work and project meetings conducted digitally via Microsoft Teams and Yolean - Internal coordination of the estimating team - Ensure competency among participating estimators - Contribute to feasibility estimates related to technical and operational operations - Help identify sustainable solutions that ensure accessibility, operational functionality, and aesthetics **Requirements (Mandatory)** - Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written - At least 4 years of experience as an estimator - Experience with complex projects involving multiple subcontractors - Experience in estimating with budget work on construction projects over 100 million SEK - Experience in early-stage estimating and conceptual sketches **Meritorious** - Experience in estimating contracting work on facilities with high requirements for access control, such as airports, nuclear power plants, ports, or similar.
