We are currently seeking a Calibrator for our Ground Workshop in Skövde.

The Ground Workshop in Skövde has approximately 200 employees and is a department within the Ground Workshop Unit, which will belong to the Army Staff after January 1, 2026. The Ground Workshop performs maintenance on the Armed Forces' vehicles, ground equipment, airbase equipment, and provides technical system support. This includes maintenance in the form of inspections, repairs, manufacturing, disassembly/scrapping, modifications, operational support, technical adaptations, and material investigations. Main Responsibilities
As a Calibrator, you will primarily perform calibration and adjustment of mechanical and electrical measuring instruments, torque wrenches, micrometers, pneumatic and hydraulic manometers, multimeters, etc. This work is mainly carried out at customer sites, but also in our new measurement/calibration workshop. Additionally, other tasks may arise depending on the needs of the workshop.
The work is largely conducted at customer locations, which entails approximately 10-15 travel weeks per year.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Two or three-year technical upper secondary education or equivalent as assessed by the employer
- You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English
- B driver's license
- Proficiency in Excel

Since the job largely involves collaborating with customers and colleagues both internally and externally, it is important that you are service-oriented and possess good teamwork skills. Meritorious
- Education in measurement technology and/or measuring instruments
- Experience working with electrical instruments
- Experience in calibrating tools
- Knowledge of SAP
- C, CE driver's license

The job also requires travel and service, both domestically and internationally. The position is a civilian role.
