You are also responsible for monitoring economics and key performance indicators, working with your manager to review statistics, menus, purchases, and food waste to ensure efficiency and sustainability. Your Qualifications We are seeking a trained chef or someone with relevant education for the role. You have experience working as a chef in large-scale kitchens. Excellent Swedish language skills (spoken and written) are required, as you will handle special diet recipes and hygiene regulations. You'll be part of a tight-knit team of approximately 35 employees delivering meals within the Care and Welfare Administration. Daily, we prepare 1,500 lunches and 600 dinners across nine kitchens and restaurants. Meals are prepared as close to the customer as possible, using quality ingredients with an increasing focus on organic foods. You'll influence nutrition issues and deliver consistent quality through excellent systems and routines. You'll be part of something bigger! With warmth and respect, we demonstrate decisiveness in both large and small matters. We live our core values in our interactions with each other and those we serve. Every day, year-round, we ensure Västerås functions smoothly. Together with your approximately 11,500 colleagues across the city, you'll have Sweden's most important job.
