Stensund Folk High School is seeking a kitchen assistant with a focus on dishwashing.
Working hours are scheduled between 06:45 and 19:00, Monday to Friday. Occasional weekends may occur, but you will mostly work approximately 12:00 to 19:00. The position is 75%.
We are a small kitchen team with a strong commitment to quality. The school has a boarding facility with about 80 residents, and a total of 200 participants, serving approximately 50-100 breakfasts, 100-200 lunches, and 50-100 dinners. Since we have the same guests every day, there are high demands for creativity and responsiveness; our goal is to provide a balanced and varied diet. Many of the school’s participants have a keen interest in health, which is reflected in our extensive salad bar. The school is operated by the Swedish Frisksport Federation, which means that the school is completely alcohol-free and we serve a lot of vegetarian food to align with the federation's focus on vegetarian diets.
The workplace lacks public transportation, which requires that you can commute to and from work by your own car.
Start date is in January or as agreed upon.
