About this role
We are currently seeking a meticulous and communicative truck inspector/auditor who wants to work in an outdoor environment with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance. The position is based in Gothenburg, but you will perform inspections at various terminals in and around Gothenburg.
Working hours are during the day (Monday to Friday) 7 AM-4 PM, though evening work may occur.
About the Position
In this role, you will conduct checks and audits of loading processes at different terminals around Gothenburg. You will assess how the loading process is carried out, observe driver actions, and ensure that applicable rules and standards are followed. You are not responsible for ensuring the driver performs the work correctly, but for evaluating, documenting, and maintaining a clear dialogue about your observations.
Primary Work Tasks:
- Perform inspections of loading processes and truck conditions.
- Ensure standards and safety requirements are met.
- Document and report observations according to established procedures.
- Conduct professional dialogue with drivers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement through feedback and follow-up.
Who Are You?
You are someone who is good at communicating and explaining things to those around you. You should be able to make objective assessments and stand by your conclusions. Experience in the vehicle industry is highly meritorious. You should be fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Knowledge of Polish is a significant plus.
Position Qualifications
Requirements:
- High school education.
- Good ability to read and interpret rules, standards, and instructions.
- Fluent Swedish and English, verbal and written.
- Driver's license (B) and access to a car.
- Comfortable working outdoors and traveling within the Gothenburg area.
Meritorious:
- Experience in the vehicle industry, logistics, or transportation.
- Polish language skills (highly meritorious), as well as Romanian, Hungarian, or other Baltic languages.
