The Guardianship Unit ensures that individuals who are unable to safeguard their rights due to illness or similar circumstances are granted the same rights as everyone else and are not disadvantaged economically or legally.
The unit's mission is to supervise and control guardianships, curatorships, and trusteeships through annual reviews and to make decisions regarding consent for various actions that representatives need to undertake in their roles. The Guardianship Team operates according to an agile working method with a focus on continuously developing and improving its work processes. The goal is to achieve optimal efficiency and to automate administrative tasks as much as possible. This approach increases the efficiency of case handling and frees up time for caseworkers to focus on assessments and providing excellent customer service.
The Guardianship Unit handles cases for the municipalities of Nacka, Värmdö, and Vaxholm. The unit has 11 employees, including one team leader and one unit manager.
**Your Assignment**
The position involves qualified case management work within the Guardianship Authority's area. You will handle complex cases involving multiple parties, with your focus on the rights of the individual.
Examples of tasks in this role include:
- Managing legal cases such as decisions on consent for the sale of real estate and condominiums, investigating the need for guardianship and trusteeship, and correspondence with the court. Court appearances may occur.
- Supervising representatives by reviewing accounting documents and investigating complaint cases.
- Collaborating with internal units within Nacka, Värmdö, and Vaxholm municipalities, as well as with district courts and other authorities, and providing information about the operations.
- Drafting service letters to committees in decisions where delegation is lacking.

**Your Experience**
You have a law degree or equivalent legal education and at least two years of experience working with guardianship issues, or three years of experience from other public authority work in personal matters or from a law firm in civil law. You should have good knowledge of civil law and administrative law.
You possess a strong ability to assess representatives' accounting documents, which means you can identify discrepancies and ensure that the principal's rights have been met.
We value your IT skills, particularly your ability to use various digital tools to achieve efficient case management.
Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, to communicate clearly and effectively with various parties, including courts, representatives, and other authorities.
