As one of our lawyers is on parental leave, we are now seeking a temporary lawyer with an interest in healthcare law for our Legal and Security section. The Legal and Security section is tasked with supporting the hospital's operations and management in areas such as law, security, preparedness, data protection, information security, registration, and archiving. The section consists of specialists with various competencies who work both strategically and operationally. You will be part of a pleasant workgroup with competent colleagues. Job Description As a lawyer at Södersjukhuset, you will provide legal support to the hospital's management, operational areas, and staff in both civil law and administrative law. This primarily involves healthcare legislation, data protection, public access and confidentiality, as well as contract law. Your responsibilities will also include conducting internal training, reviewing contracts, assisting with risk and impact assessments, and developing and revising governing documents. You will participate in the preparation of decision-making materials and handle legal matters with courts and other authorities. The legal function serves as a central and valued expert role within the hospital. Within Region Stockholm, there are networks for lawyers where you will have the opportunity to collaborate and exchange experiences with colleagues from other units within the region. You will also be part of a national network for lawyers in healthcare. You will work closely with both the other lawyer in the section and your other colleagues. Qualifications As a lawyer with us, you need to have strong analytical skills and sound legal judgment. As a person, you are self-driven, structured, and good at prioritizing and completing tasks. Since the role of a lawyer spans several different legal areas and involves interdisciplinary collaboration, you need to have good communication and collaboration skills, be pedagogical, and quickly grasp various issues. Furthermore, it is important that you have the ability to see the bigger picture.
