About this role
A job that matters! With us, you contribute to a well-functioning society for the public and businesses.
Our newly established unit needs to grow with additional lawyers to work with qualified legal matters across various areas of law.
About the Job
In the unit, we work, among other things, with a simplified court procedure, where we, instead of the court, make decisions in cases concerning payment orders and assistance. We also handle the enforcement review of judgments and decisions, as well as the processing of cases regarding corrections, blocking, and deletion of information in the authority's operational databases.
Your workday will be varied. You will work across several different legal areas, including procedural law, property and tenancy law, contract law, consumer law, family law, corporate law, and enforcement law. You will handle cases concerning special assistance, conduct legal investigations, and write opinions for courts and other authorities. The work involves many external contacts, both in writing and by phone. Additionally, you will provide legal support to case handlers in several units within the department. This means that, in a coaching role, you need to be prepared to quickly address and respond to various types of inquiries.
Everyone working at the Enforcement Authority contributes to the fight against crime. Your tasks include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes. As a lawyer, you can, for example, counter fictitious claims in applications for payment orders, thereby preventing welfare crimes from occurring.
Possible locations for the position include Luleå, Umeå, Östersund, Gävle, Uddevalla, and Visby. Currently, this is where the unit's lawyers and enforcement officers are located.

As an employee at the Enforcement Authority, you are expected to live up to our employee policy. You take initiative, are engaged, and take responsibility for achieving goals. You contribute to the development of the organization and help your colleagues succeed. You treat others with respect, kindness, actively listen to others, and maintain a positive attitude.
You work results-oriented, demonstrate decisiveness, and focus on what needs to be achieved. You are stable, have high integrity, and are trustworthy when meeting people in vulnerable situations. You communicate easily and act in a trustworthy and pedagogical manner when interacting with clients. You possess analytical skills that allow you to see connections and find the most effective solutions. You adapt to circumstances and the changes that occur.
Your Qualifications:
- A degree from a law program with at least 270 credits (180 credits according to the old system)
- Notary qualification
It is desirable that you have relevant work experience in legal advice or relevant work experience from an authority.
