Since the summer of 2025, the agency has been the sector-responsible preparedness authority for the new broadband sector for industry, construction, and trade. As a lawyer in the unit, you will be involved in issues related to industry and trade, as well as our preparedness mission. About the position Working as a lawyer at the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth means you will work proactively and actively collaborate with other units and competencies. You will operate within a broad legal field and be involved in the entire organization's work. You will address issues related to the agency's core operations, which includes legal quality assurance of both support fund processes and management, as well as government assignments. You will also investigate issues related to state aid, conduct contract reviews, and provide internal training. The role also includes exciting EU legal matters and a clear focus on business development work. You will belong to the Procurement and Legal Affairs unit within the Legal and Control Department. Currently, the unit consists of four lawyers, one investigator, and two procurement officers. Your work location will be Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö, but travel to other offices may occur. We are looking for someone who has: • A Swedish law degree (previously known as jur kand) • At least four years of experience in qualified legal work as a lawyer at a government authority • Excellent ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing • Good knowledge of administrative law • Current experience in business development work • Recent experience working with state aid regulations or competition law. The following are meritorious: • Experience leading business development work • Recent experience working with EU-related regulations, such as the Regional Fund, Horizon Europe, or the European Social Fund. We seek someone with good collaboration skills and a high work capacity. You should also be self-driven in your work and enjoy taking initiative. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities.
