We are currently seeking a Junior Strategic Buyer for a leading company in VÀsterÄs. In this role, you will: As a Junior Strategic Buyer, you will drive procurement and supplier base management activities within your category while developing and implementing a local procurement strategy. You will monitor the supplier market and evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and commercial aspects. The job involves leading commercial negotiations, managing price changes and supplier agreements, as well as being responsible for purchases related to the introduction of new products. The role of Junior Strategic Buyer also includes developing and implementing processes and policies for Supply Chain Management (SCM) in close collaboration with the global process improvement team. As a primary user of SCM's IS/IT applications, such as SAP Ariba, you will be an important contact person for system-related inquiries and support for your colleagues. Requirements: - Degree in engineering or economics with a focus on Supply Chain Management - Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written - Advanced skills in Excel Meritorious: - Interest in technology - Knowledge of industrial goods and supplier markets in a global context - Experience with SAP, Ariba, or similar systems is a plus About you: To thrive in the role of Junior Strategic Buyer, we see that you are analytical, communicative, and unpretentious.
