ABOUT THE POSITION
Our client is a prominent actor in the Nordic region for circular solutions and sustainable environmental services. They work to address today's major challenges around climate and resource use by giving waste new life as valuable resources and ensuring harmful substances do not spread through the cycle. In this way, they contribute to reducing emissions and preserving our natural ecosystems.
As a project manager at our client's site outside Kumla, you will belong to their research and development department. You will drive your own sub-projects from start to finish, focusing on stabilizing waste and developing new end products. You will work in a flexible research environment where your chemical expertise and ability to work independently are crucial. The role involves both practical laboratory work and data processing in close collaboration with experienced colleagues.

WORK TASKS
As a project manager, you will take on exciting projects aimed at streamlining waste management and developing new, sustainable materials from waste products. You will be responsible for planning and performing experiments in a laboratory environment, as well as analyzing and documenting your findings. The work is practical and requires you to not be afraid to roll up your sleeves, while being meticulous with data and reporting.
* Plan and conduct analyses in a laboratory environment
* Perform lab studies and leaching tests
* Mix and analyze different waste materials
* Compile data and document research results
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Have good chemical laboratory experience, specifically in inorganic chemistry and process chemistry
- Have post-secondary education in chemistry, or equivalent work experience
- Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing
- Have a driver's license B and access to a car, as required to smoothly get to work
It is meritorious if you have
- Experience in project management
- Experience from process industries (e.g., power plants or paper mills)
