About this role
**Description**
In Stockholm, we are seeking a junior production project leader who wants to be an important part of our client’s customer projects and ensure that production delivers according to project directives and plans.
The role entails overall responsibility for planning, monitoring, and managing the activities and deliverables of the sub-project, with a focus on achieving goals without getting bogged down in details. You will work closely with the project team, product program leaders, and line managers, serving as a central link between production and the governance of the customer project.
**Responsibilities**
As a junior project leader, you will be responsible for planning and monitoring the activities, timelines, and deliverables of the sub-project, as well as managing the budget responsibilities delegated by the customer project. You will delegate responsibilities to project members within the framework of the project plan and ensure that deviations in time, cost, or results are addressed and escalated. The role includes the development and revision of standard procedures, implementation of improvements, and collecting necessary data from other functions. When necessary, you will take on other defined tasks within your area of expertise, train colleagues, conduct risk analyses, and ensure that Lessons Learned are documented and followed up. You will regularly report on the status and issues of the sub-project and communicate with relevant projects and steering groups.
**Qualifications**
• BS or MSc in Engineering or equivalent with leadership experience
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• 1–3 years of relevant work experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• Experience in project management within production
• Experience in budget monitoring and resource planning
• Experience in improvement work and implementing new ways of working
**Conditions**
• Working hours: Daytime, Monday to Thursday 06:00–15:00 and Fridays 05:50–13:00
• Employment level: Full time
• Location: Stockholm
• Full time on-site at the client's premises
• Period: December 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026 (Excellent opportunities for extension.)
• The role may require you to undergo and be approved according to current security regulations, which may include citizenship requirements.
