Eltel has a security profile and works closely with security-classified customers, following strict security standards and certifications. They ensure that all technical installations and network solutions meet high information security requirements. Currently, Eltel is conducting several installation and infrastructure works at various facilities on Gotland, where they are responsible for critical technical installations and network solutions.
As a Technician for Eltel, you will work with cable laying and mounting cable trays. An experienced technician will be available for guidance. Some work involves laying cables outdoors in the ground. Additionally, you will mount access points on ceilings or walls, which involves screwing in 4 screws and then clicking on an access point. Initially, fiber welding will be done by an experienced technician, while CAT6 cable termination (common data network) will be performed by the applicant, with potential for more responsibilities over time.
The assignment is expected to start in January/February and will begin with a 6-month probationary period, with a chance for extension/permanent position. Work will initially be from 07:30-16:00 on weekdays. Work will take place at various facilities in the Stockholm region and surrounding areas. Travel to other locations and projects may be required, sometimes necessitating overnight stays.

• Is committed, responsible, and has a strong work ethic
• Enjoys physical work and has a positive attitude towards practical tasks
• Is structured and focused in work, with a willingness to learn
• Has an unblemished criminal record
• Holds a B driver's license and has access to a car to travel to work sites
• Has experience in fiber or electrical work (preferably through high school education in electrical, technical, or fiber fields or previous practical experience)
• Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
