ABOUT THE POSITION As a Junior Designer, you will be a key player in our client's team at the Västerås office, where you will contribute to creating safer roads. You will work on developing and designing innovative traffic safety solutions in close collaboration with colleagues and external partners. RESPONSIBILITIES Job Duties The role involves designing, developing, and sizing traffic safety solutions through calculations and simulations, as well as collaborating with teams and external contacts. * Design and develop traffic safety solutions, such as guardrails * Project new guardrails and other products * Perform calculations and simulations of products * Size products using finite element analysis * Collaborate closely with colleagues in the team * Maintain regular contact with customers and suppliers * Drive independent tasks and projects WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO - Holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering - Has knowledge of Inventor or AutoCAD - Possesses a basic understanding of construction principles and sizing It is advantageous if you have - A strong interest and aptitude for drawing and design To succeed in this role, you have the following personal qualities: - Helpful - Goal-oriented - Organized - Responsible - Intellectually curious Our recruitment process This recruitment process is managed by Academic Work, and our client's request is that all questions regarding the position are sent to Academic Work.
