Junior IT Security Engineer

ABOUT THE POSITION: In the role of Junior IT Security Engineer, you will work on a variety of tasks, all characterized by a strong focus on security. Among other things, you will participate in architectural work with a focus on IT security, contribute to the design of IT security functions, interpret and break down IT security requirements, assist projects in evaluating proposed solutions from an IT security perspective, and be a natural hub in the project for IT security-related questions. You will also write documentation and participate in technical discussions regarding various solutions. The work also requires close contact with clients. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: • Holds a bachelor's or master's degree in fields such as computer engineering and cybersecurity • Has work experience related to IT security, for example as a SOC analyst • Possesses good knowledge of Python, Linux, and technical orders • Has knowledge of cryptography and network technology such as Cisco, switches, firewalls, and routers • Has a solid interest in cybersecurity and can preferably demonstrate hobby projects beyond academic work • Speaks and writes both Swedish and English fluently, as both languages are used in your work It is an advantage if you have experience with one or more of the following standards: KSF 3.1, EAL levels of Common Criteria, ISO2700X, or other international standards such as BSI. You enjoy programming but want to take the step towards working with IT security-related issues. ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT: This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where the client has requirements for security clearance, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
