**Job Description**
Your duties will include:
- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
- Source and procure equipment and materials in accordance with project specifications and production requirements.
- Evaluate potential suppliers for quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Communicate within a team environment.
- Analyze price and data.
- Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Track and expedite orders to meet production and project timelines.
- Resolve issues related to shortages, overages, or quality discrepancies.
**Skills and Requirements**
- Electrically biased buyer on large-scale construction projects based in Sweden.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a purchasing/buying role required - full training of in-house procedures/systems will be provided.
- Engineering experience advantageous but not essential.
- Knowledge of/experience in the construction industry would be advantageous.
- Relevant 3rd level qualification in procurement required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
- Excellent IT skills essential - knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
