ABOUT THE POSITION
Academic Work is looking for a buyer on behalf of our client to join a growing team within Supply Chain Management in Örnsköldsvik. Here, you will work at the forefront of strategic purchasing, logistics, and production – while contributing to long-term solutions that make a real difference. We prefer that you have experience in both operational and strategic purchasing processes – but most importantly, you have the right drive, curiosity, and willingness to learn. The position is a consultancy assignment, which means you will be employed by Academic Work and work on assignment with our partner. This is a long-term position, so there are good opportunities for permanent employment, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has completed an engineering degree in a relevant field or a university degree in commerce and logistics
- Has worked in finance, procurement, or equivalent roles considered relevant to the position
- Master both Swedish and English very well in speech and writing, as both languages are used in daily work
It is an advantage if you:
- Live/have ties to Örnsköldsvik, or see weekly commuting as a possible arrangement
- Have actively managed purchasing and supplier relationships
- Have experience with business systems, such as SAP
