ValueOne Seeks Junior Purchaser with Automotive Industry Experience
ValueOne is seeking a Junior Purchaser with experience from the automotive industry for a consulting assignment at our customer located south of Stockholm. The assignment will be filled as soon as possible and is expected to last four months with great prospects for extension.
ValueOne specializes in Supply Chain Management – purchasing and logistics. Role Responsibilities:
As a Junior Purchaser, you will support the purchasing organization in both development projects and ongoing operations. You will work closely with Sourcing Managers and cross-functional teams.
Primary Work Tasks:
• Manage purchasing matters and support planning, execution, and implementation of change requests
• Coordinate with R&D and ensure prototype deliveries for test vehicles
• Send out request for quotations (RFQ), collect and evaluate offers, and assist in commercial negotiations
• Perform operational and administrative tasks such as order placement, invoice management, and system maintenance like SAP and Matris
• Participate in meetings and contribute to activities like quality follow-up, tool and contract management, capacity planning, supplier introductions, and other ad-hoc tasks
• Identify and drive improvements of tools, processes, and routines in your area
Experience and Competence:
We are seeking candidates with previous experience in the automotive industry and relevant education in purchasing, engineering, economics, or similar. Knowledge of administrative systems, preferably SAP, is desirable. The role requires fluent Swedish and English communication. As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and enjoy teamwork.
