ABOUT THE POSITION
Tjeders in Malmköping is a leading player in alarm and communication solutions for healthcare, social care, and safety. Their products contribute to creating security and safety in society and are used in both critical security applications and everyday care environments. As a Junior Hardware Engineer, you will become an essential part of the development team in Malmköping. You will contribute to the new development and maintenance of their innovative products, work closely with experienced colleagues, and have the opportunity to grow in a supportive environment. Your responsibilities will range from circuit board design and testing in a lab environment to technical documentation.
Tjeders offers a friendly work environment where innovation and collaboration are central. You will be part of a dedicated team that works closely together to develop products that make a difference. You are expected to be on-site in Malmköping at least 2 days a week, but preferably more, as production, lab, etc., are located here. Initially, it is required that you are present more to receive the support you need.

RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role, you will focus on hardware development, where you will design, test, and document electronics for Tjeders' products.
* Design circuit boards, create schematics, and BOM lists.
* Review and ensure the quality of electronic designs.
* Participate in and conduct technical tests, including functional tests and EMC tests.
* Support the purchasing department with component selection and find replacements for discontinued components.
* Develop technical documentation, such as specifications and product guides.
* Perform measurements of power consumption and radio performance for wireless devices.
* Participate in project planning and task breakdown within the development team.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Holds a bachelor's or master’s degree in electronics or equivalent
- Has a strong interest in hardware development and new technology and is eager to learn more
- Has basic knowledge of CAD for circuit board design
- Is proficient in both Swedish and English
