On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking a junior operations technician with experience in power plants for an assignment in Lund. The assignment is full-time and is expected to start on January 5, 2026, and run until March 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension. About the assignment
In the role of operations technician, you will contribute to and be responsible for the daily operation and monitoring of our client's facilities. The purpose of the role is to work, together with other team members in the shift team, towards optimal operations. You will be part of the company's operations department and will perform your tasks with a focus on applicable legislation and regulations as well as the company's guidelines and instructions.
As an operations technician, you will be responsible for:
• Receiving and relaying relevant information to and from others and your own shift team.
• Starting and stopping facilities and facility components.
• Performing rounds.
• Following applicable operating instructions and safety regulations, as well as meeting conditions and permits for operations concerning existing operational cases and activities conducted in the facilities.
• Participating in the issuance of permits, such as Work Certificates and Hot Work permits.
• Performing corrective maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Reporting facility parts and components in need of maintenance actions.
• Promoting the dissemination of knowledge within the shift team and identifying training needs.
• Together with the team, taking responsibility for ensuring a safe working environment by acting with risk awareness, choosing safe working methods, and being a role model.
As a consultant for our client, you are also expected to stay informed about the client's operations. When needs are identified, you are expected to propose improvements, and in cases where deviations are identified, these should be reported according to applicable directives.

About you
We are looking for someone who meets the following mandatory requirements:
• Post-secondary education/experience as an operations technician, operations engineer, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in similar work at power plants.
• B driver's license.
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
