Are you interested in building a modern, robust, and scalable development platform? We are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer who thrives at the intersection of development and operations, and is passionate about automation and creating smooth environments for development teams.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
In this position, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving infrastructure and CI/CD environments. You will work closely with development teams to ensure stable, secure, and efficient deliveries, from code to production. You will be a key person in driving forward work with Kubernetes, observability, and automation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters
• Troubleshoot pods, logs, and resource limitations
• Build, maintain, and deploy Docker images
• Further develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Support development teams with developer enablement, installing and configuring tools, creating reproducible local environments
• Automate repetitive processes with Bash, Makefiles, and Jenkinsfiles
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS:
• Master's degree in a relevant field, such as computer engineering or information technology
• Understanding of Kubernetes and container-based environments
• Experience and interest in building and maintaining CI/CD flows
• Good understanding of networks, security, and cloud-based infrastructure
Previous work experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering is meritorious.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
This is a consulting assignment, which means you will initially be employed by Friday. The intention from both the Customer and our side is for you to become directly employed by the customer after 6-12 months.
