Teacher of Media and English at Johannes Hedberg High School We are in need of a substitute teacher for the subjects of English, Media, Society and Communication, as well as Media Production. The position is a temporary role covering parental leave at 60% and will extend throughout the spring term. Johannes Hedberg High School is part of Folkuniversitetet. Johannes Hedberg High School is a non-profit independent school in Helsingborg that has been established since 1994. Today, we have approximately 460 students distributed across the Social Science and Natural Science programs. We are around 40 employees in new, modern facilities located in the heart of Helsingborg, just a few minutes from the train station. Our Expectations of You - You are a certified upper secondary school teacher in the relevant subjects or are in the process of becoming one. - You have experience teaching at the upper secondary level. - You are committed, flexible, and passionate about delivering quality education. - You have a clear student focus and are driven by seeing young people develop. - You possess strong collaboration skills. - You have good knowledge of Adobe programs InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. About the Position The position is a temporary role covering parental leave at 60% and will extend throughout the spring term of 2026, starting on January 7, 2026, or by agreement. The role includes teaching in the subjects of English, Media, Society and Communication, and Media Production, as well as responsibility for the school newspaper.
