Welcome to us The Youth Operations area within Jobbtorg Stockholm supports young people in finding, obtaining, and retaining education or employment. The Focus Future Youth unit supports young individuals with a criminal lifestyle. Our offices are located in Södermalm and Hammarby Sjöstad, but we meet our participants where they are throughout Stockholm. Here, you will have colleagues with high competence and great commitment to the target group. Our target group consists of young people aged 16-29 from various backgrounds, experiences, and circumstances, but with the commonality of being outside the labor market and having lived a criminal lifestyle or being at risk of entering criminal contexts. Your role As a job coach, you will work according to the Supported Employment (SE) method to support, motivate, and guide the target group in finding, obtaining, and retaining a job or education with the aim of becoming self-sufficient. SE is tailored for Jobbtorg Stockholm's operations. You will map out and plan together with the aspirant. A significant part of your work involves establishing employer contacts and matching the aspirant with the right workplace. You will seek out and find employers and support both the aspirant and the employer as needed. You will assist participants in their studies by creating the right support and collaborating with educational providers. You will utilize our internal and external initiatives in your work. You will work both independently and as part of a team. You will collaborate with colleagues within the organization as well as with external actors and employers. You will continuously document in the existing operational system according to guidelines. The role requires a high level of self-leadership, where you plan and structure your working hours based on the operations and participants. A large part of the job involves meeting participants and employers where they are, which entails daily travel within Stockholm. Change and development work is a natural part of the workday and requires active participation. Your qualifications and experience - Academic education with a focus on behavioral science, criminology, social studies, sociology, or equivalent experience. - Experience working with young individuals with a criminal lifestyle, for example, through work within SIG, the Prison and Probation Service, SIS, or similar. - Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. - Proficient in the Office suite, Outlook, and working and documenting within digital operational systems (e.g., CRM). Meritorious - Experience working with employer contacts. - Training in Supported Employment (SE). - Training in Motivational Interviewing (MI). - Knowledge of Individual Placement and Support (IPS). - Experience working within a politically governed organization. This means that your employment is within the entire administration and that you may receive new assignments within other operations where your skills are most needed.
