We are currently looking for someone who wants to become a part of our wonderful team and work as a personal assistant in Karlstad.
What does the position entail?
In this role, you will work with a client who is blind, has autism, an intellectual disability, and epilepsy. The client lives alone in an apartment and receives double assistance during the day. Your work will take place wherever the client is – at home or during various activities. The role is both varied and eventful, and you will play a crucial part in ensuring that the client's daily life functions smoothly and feels meaningful. Due to the client's disabilities, it is important that you, as an assistant, work with clarity, structure, and care. You should be self-assured and comfortable with routines.
We are looking for someone who is studying or has another job but wants to do something extra on the side. The working hours vary between day, evening, and weekend shifts, and awake night shifts may also occur.

We are seeking someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We would like you to have great patience and the ability to be personal while maintaining professionalism. You should be able to collaborate easily and view your colleagues as an important resource in your work.
It is preferred that you have another occupation alongside this role.
We hope you:
• Have a genuine interest in helping others.
• Can understand and communicate in Swedish.
• Can work flexible hours – day, evening, and weekend. Some of our positions also require you to work nights.
• Have experience with autism.
• Have experience in care and support (this is a plus, but not a requirement).

Employment type: hourly substitute

Start date: by agreement
We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Before a potential employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
