**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are currently seeking hourly substitutes for our operations within Elderly Care.

Those of us who work here support each other in our common goal of providing the best possible service and care to the residents of Vimmerby municipality. **Job Responsibilities**
The tasks involve facilitating the daily lives of individuals who, due to age or illness/disability, need support to manage their everyday activities. The main principle is to provide support and assistance based on the user's approved services, self-determination, and participation. The work consists of support and assistance with personal care and service tasks. Personal care may include shower assistance, morning, midday, and evening help. Service tasks may include cleaning, for example. The job also includes documentation in our documentation system, Lifecare, as well as performing health and medical tasks as delegated by the responsible nurse.
Working hours are distributed across day/evening/weekend and night shifts.
**Home Care**
Home care is a collective term for various forms of care, support, service, and security that we provide in the user's home. Home care performs the services that case managers have assessed the user needs. What is to be performed for the user during each visit is available on a schedule in your work phone. Six teams operate in Vimmerby, and four teams work in the outer areas.
**Care and Nursing Homes**
We assist users with support and help with personal care, meal assistance, and service tasks. There is a large facility in Vimmerby, one in Storebro, and one in Södra Vi. The departments are divided by different physical barriers, dementia diagnoses, short-term units, and daily activities.
**Night Shifts in Home Care and Care and Nursing Homes**
Night shifts involve work either within a night patrol that travels around the municipality or within a care and nursing home that meets the users' needs at night.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
We are looking for someone who:
- Is at least 18 years old
- Has training as a nursing assistant, caregiver, or equivalent education.
- Experience in the field is an advantage.
- For home care and night shifts, a Class B driver's license is required. A Class B driver's license is also desirable for care and nursing homes.
In the selection process, we will place great emphasis on personal qualities and interest in the position. As a person, you are responsible and flexible, have a service-oriented approach, and a positive attitude with a good and respectful demeanor. It is important that you can work independently while also having good collaboration skills. The work also requires documentation, so you must be computer literate and proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
The position is subject to ID verification.

If you are hired as an hourly employee, you will undergo a web-based introduction upon employment. You will also need to sign a confidentiality agreement.
