We are now seeking kitchen assistants for school kitchens. An important and varied job where you contribute to smooth kitchen operations every day.
As a kitchen assistant, you help the chef with preparations and simple cooking tasks, such as salads, sandwiches, and food warming. You receive deliveries, maintain kitchen organization, and ensure hygiene routines are followed.
You work independently but always in close collaboration with the chef and colleagues. This job is for those who enjoy a fast pace, service, and creating a pleasant dining environment for both children and staff.
Pamoja is the largest staffing agency for school substitutes in Sweden. We have contracts with many schools and offer a variety of exciting assignments.
How the job works
You often work on short notice (same morning). You can work a lot or a little, frequently or rarely. The specific tasks you can work on will be agreed upon during hiring. You will always be personally matched to assignments based on your preferences and skills.
You manage the job easily through our smart app. Additionally, you'll have a support team and a personal coach to support you before, during, and after work. You work securely with a collective agreement. Of course, you'll receive a proper job introduction before starting.
What do you need to know?
• You must have a completed high school diploma and food hygiene certification.
• You need at least 6 months of experience working in a school restaurant or large kitchen, with food preparation and service. You must be prepared to take responsibility, show initiative, and want to collaborate with others.
• You have great freedom to change your calendar - but you need to be prepared to work as promised.
• You need to be able to work at least 2 days per week (Are you a student? Then you need to be able to work at least 1 day/week).
• You should want to be a good role model for everyone you meet at work!
