Here they can grow and be participants with trusted staff by their side. All children and young people have their own room and share common areas where we socialize, play, and create a stimulating everyday life together. We ensure that the children are involved in shaping their days, so they feel valuable and strengthened in their independence. Your Role As a habilitation assistant, you make a real difference in the children's daily lives at Östergården. You are a trusted adult who contributes to participation, development, and joy. In your work, you will: - provide support during important moments of the day – during meals, training, personal care, and leisure activities, - help build communication bridges using AAC and clarifying pedagogy, - be a contact person and collaborate with the children's parents and network, - collaborate with support educators, nurses, and habilitation teams in planning implementation plans, - contribute to collegial learning where we develop the operation together. Who We Are Seeking We are seeking a secure and responsible person who can provide care support for children with complex needs. This means you have good communication skills, can create trusting relationships, and participate in adapting the children's daily life. You provide care with heart – but always with professional distance. We are seeking someone who has: - Education in healthcare, care, or disability support (e.g., nursing assistant or support assistant) - Knowledge of AAC, clarifying pedagogy and/or low-affective approach - Experience with social documentation - Good computer skills and ability to work in digital systems - Good Swedish skills, both verbally, in writing, and reading comprehension Meriting factors include: - Experience working with people with disabilities and/or with children and youth - Handling respiratory aids or tube feeding Come and make a difference with us.
