JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nursing assistant in home care, you will provide support, service, and care to people living at home who need help with their daily lives. You will assist with everything from personal hygiene, mobility, and meals to medical tasks delegated to you. You have an eye for details, but also for people. You notice when someone is not feeling well and know how to address both concern, joy, and loneliness. At the same time, you document changes and interventions in our journal systems in a correct and responsible manner. The schedule involves work during the day, evening, and every other weekend. As an employee of Varberg Municipality, resource shifts are also included, which means you will work at more units than your primary placement. QUALIFICATIONS In home care, you will meet people in various life situations, and the work varies between independent tasks and close collaboration with colleagues. To enjoy working with us, you need to like varying days, be able to adapt when plans change, and feel comfortable taking responsibility when something unexpected occurs. Being attentive to both expressed and unexpressed needs is a strength that will be of great use to you. Requirements: • Qualified nursing assistant. • Driving license (B-class). • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. If you are a citizen outside EU/EEA or Switzerland, you need to attach a valid work permit and be able to show a valid ID.
