Job Description
A public sector IT team is seeking two system developers for a delivery area handling business and mission-critical systems. You will work on both new and further development as well as management of existing systems. The assignment involves working with an application managing critical processes within the organization.
The assignment requires excellent technical experience and understanding, good collaboration skills, and strong communication abilities. You need to be self-driven, proactive, service-oriented, and clear, with good decision-making skills and a focus on development and results.
The assignment is within a socially critical sector.
As a system developer in the delivery area, you will:
• Develop and implement software solutions according to requirements, design, and architecture.
• Perform troubleshooting, isolate and correct software errors, and manage administrative routines.
• Document implemented functionality.
The assignment includes work within:
• Language/Platform: Java (JDK11)/JavaEE8 or later
• Integration: XML/XSD, JSON/JSONSchema, SOAP, REST, JMS
• Build Support: Maven and Jenkins
• Version Control: Git
• Application Server: Weblogic v14
• Development Tools: IntelliJ for Java development
• Test Frameworks: JUnit5, Selenium, Mockito
• Operating Environment: Redhat Linux
• Database: Oracle
• Frontend: Angular 20
Mandatory Requirements:
• At least 4 years of professional experience in backend development based on JavaEE or JakartaEE within the last 7 years.
• At least 4 years of successful test-driven development experience with Java 8 or later within the last 7 years.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with JPA or JDBC within the last 5 years.
• At least 2 years of experience with Angular, React, or similar frontend frameworks within the last 6 years.
• At least 3 years of professional experience with the following technologies/tools: Linux, Git, SQL, Maven.
Meritorious Requirements:
• At least 5 years of development experience within a large government agency.
• At least 3 years of professional experience with Spring Framework or Spring Boot.
• Experience with test automation (unit, integration, system).
• Experience with Oracle Database.
