About the role:
As a Java developer at Blue Lobster, you will work on assignments for our clients and develop innovative solutions using Java and related technologies. You will be part of a team and contribute to the entire development process, from design to implementation and testing.
Your responsibilities may include:
• Development of backend applications in Java
• Design and implementation of APIs (RESTful, etc.)
• Working with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
• Integration with other systems
• Participation in agile development processes
• Code review and testing
• Troubleshooting and optimizing code
Qualifications:
• Solid experience in Java development (Java 8+, Spring Boot, etc.)
• Good knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns
• Experience working with version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) is an advantage
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
• Skills in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) are a bonus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
