About this role

Swedish Armed Forces Telecommunications and Information Systems Unit (FMTIS) is now seeking an ITIL Manager for the System Management Unit. The System Management Unit (SFE) is the Swedish Armed Forces unit responsible for managing IT systems and master data, with operations in Enköping, Arboga, and Boden. The unit's primary mission is to ensure the usefulness of systems and information for the organization. SFE manages several of the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems, in areas such as logistics, HR, finance, information, and technology. The organization is in an expansive phase regarding both production and number of employees. SFE offers an interesting and dynamic work environment with an excellent work climate, featuring engaged employees who actively contribute to the unit's development and the Swedish Armed Forces' operations. The unit primarily employs civilian personnel. About the Position As a Process Manager, you will drive efforts for efficient processes, continuous improvements, and ensuring IT creates measurable value for the organization. This will be accomplished through measurement and follow-up, training, and operational support for leading and coordinating process roles. You will have the ear of the IT organization and understand that processes are not self-fulfilling, but about creating value-driven deliveries. Your initial primary focus will be Release Management, but as a Process Manager, you are expected to support additional process areas over time. Primary Work Tasks • Follow up and develop processes alongside sub-process leaders to improve efficiency. • Train and document methods and instructions related to assigned processes and tool areas. • Coordinate interfaces between processes and/or organizational functions as needed. • Support improvement efforts within assigned process areas and their interfaces. • Develop and analyze reports for process control and follow-up. • Identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities regarding processes (including models), support systems, routines, and/or activities. • Ensure process changes are implemented and applied within the organization. • Receive and handle escalation and prioritization cases from across the Swedish Armed Forces. • Support the Swedish Armed Forces in process application through knowledge sharing and communication. • Develop functionality requirements for tools supporting relevant processes. Qualifications • Relevant university degree in technology and computer science, or equivalent competence as assessed by the employer • Deep knowledge of process-oriented working methods (ITIL) • Strong communication skills and ability to express oneself well, both verbally and in writing, in English and Swedish Personal Characteristics We seek someone who is open, unpretentious, demonstrates developmental leadership, and continuously strives to improve the organization.
