About the Unit
FMTIS has four implementation units (GE) in Sweden that perform maintenance of the Swedish Armed Forces' management systems within IT and telecommunications. The service is located at GE West. The unit works with maintenance of the Armed Forces' telecommunications network, electrical/mechanical, radio, sensor, surveillance, and field systems, as well as installation, operation, and maintenance of various IT systems. The department in Såtenäs consists of two sections, a TB section and an IT section with approximately 15 employees.
Primary Work Tasks
As an IT Technician, you will be part of a work group of about 10 people responsible for IT support within Såtenäs Garrison. The work primarily involves supporting users and addressing issues through our case management system, such as order and incident cases. Tasks are varied and include troubleshooting and maintenance of the Swedish Armed Forces' management support systems. Work is performed both individually and together with other team members.

Qualifications:
• Higher education in Computer Technology IT/Data or equivalent knowledge that can be assessed as equivalent by the employer.
• Experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and configuration of hardware.
• Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• B driver's license (manual transmission)

Meriting:
• Knowledge and experience of Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ITIL
