About the position
We are looking for an IT Technician specializing in Digital Workplace for our office in Sollefteå. As an IT Technician in the Digital Workplace unit, you will be responsible for the digital workplace at Swedish National Grid and will also manage parts of the underlying IT infrastructure.
In this role, you will be a key person regarding the experience of our digital workplace and will support operations on-site in Sollefteå. You will be part of a team consisting of both employees and consultants, with others located in Sundbyberg. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in other areas to deliver a top-class digital workplace, and we value that you are a team player who is passionate about providing solutions with users at the center. The role primarily involves receiving and resolving incidents and requests, as well as developing and managing the client platform.
Main responsibilities:
• Troubleshooting workplace and meeting technology in Swedish National Grid's facilities, primarily in Sollefteå but also at our office in Sundsvall. Travel to other offices and Sundbyberg may occur.
• Managing incoming cases in our case management system and via phone.
• Troubleshooting both hardware and software as well as local networks.
• Participating in the development and management of the client platform (Linux and Windows).
• Updating the knowledge database with information and training employees.
• You will also support the service desk with case management.
About you
Required qualifications:
As an IT Technician with us, you are a person with a strong sense of service and a genuine interest in helping others. You have good collaboration skills and are proactive in solving problems and improving work processes. You are flexible and adaptable to workload, and you easily acquire new knowledge in a changing technical environment.
Your communication is clear, and you are outgoing in your interactions with both colleagues and users. With a humble attitude, you build trust and contribute to a positive and solution-oriented work environment. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
Furthermore, you have a 2-year education in IT, such as from NTI Gymnasiet, KY education, or equivalent. We also want you to have:
• At least five years of experience as an IT support technician or IT technician.
• Experience with installation and troubleshooting of hardware and software as well as networks.
• Experience writing scripts in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience working with SCCM or Ansible.
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Good ability to express yourself in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• A valid B driver's license is also necessary for this position.
It is advantageous if you have knowledge and experience in:
• VMware
• SharePoint
• Software packaging
• Exchange, AD, and Azure
• An organization where IT security and data protection are particularly important.
