As an IT Systems Manager within the Life Science division, you will become a key person in a dedicated team that ensures the operation of our IT systems. About Us The Chemical Processes and Pharmaceuticals Department within RISE Life Science division is an innovation partner to small and large companies in pharmaceuticals, industrial chemistry, and Medtech. We develop new chemical processes and products for clients and research projects, located in Södertälje, Stockholm, and Lund. Part of our operations are subject to regulatory requirements such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and we are continuously inspected by both authorities and clients. In the Technology group, we work comprehensively with technical issues, IT and computerized systems, property management, instrument technology, maintenance, and service. Our work ensures the department's operations function both daily and long-term. You will belong to the tech team, which also includes instrument technicians and an administrator, where you will bring specialized IT expertise. About the Role As an IT Systems Manager, you will have a central position focusing on management and development of the department's IT infrastructure. The work involves continuous contact with RISE's central IT department, acting as the link between the department and central IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include daily support and troubleshooting, planning future maintenance and development of computerized systems, and supporting purchases and implementation of new instruments and systems to ensure both RISE IT and regulatory requirements are met. Educating colleagues on various systems is a crucial part of the assignment, as is representing the organization as an IT specialist during inspections - answering questions and explaining how systems meet established requirements. The role also addresses issues related to regulatory operations and GMP, such as data handling, storage, and access. Location is Södertälje. Note that a background check will be conducted before employment. Who Are You? To succeed in the role, you must meet these requirements: • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in systems management/IT • Strong general IT knowledge in operating systems (Windows), networks, AD (LDAP), and scripting, with excellent troubleshooting abilities • Practical and theoretical knowledge of data storage from instruments, audit trails, and data integrity • Ability to serve as IT specialist during authority and customer inspections • Excellent Swedish and English skills, both verbal and written Strongly Meriting Qualifications: • Experience in pharmaceutical industry, especially systems management in GMP-regulated environments • Documented GMP knowledge from an IT perspective, such as writing qualification documentation for IT systems regarding instrument/system qualification in regulatory environments and investigating IT-related deviations Personal Characteristics: You have strong communication skills and are driven by high-quality management. You are accustomed to operational work, planning, coordination, and delivering results. You have a pronounced ability to collaborate and enjoy building and maintaining relationships.
