**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are seeking someone who wants to contribute to delivering and developing the IT department's support services for the over 20,000 employees of the Prison and Probation Service.
As an IT Support Specialist for 1st line support, you will be an engaged, proactive, and guiding employee with a good understanding of various IT areas. This role also requires strong technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage both people and technology.
In your role, you will be responsible for coordinating the group's daily operational work, ensuring high-quality delivery, and driving operational development. You will actively participate in the onboarding of new employees as well as the implementation of new technologies and procedures within the group.

We are looking for someone who has:
• Completed upper secondary education or equivalent education combined with work experience that the Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Several years of work experience in IT with a focus on Service or Support
• Experience leading teams or working in a coordinating role with responsibility for processes, routines, and ensuring users receive quick and accurate assistance
• Several years of experience working according to the ITIL framework
• Very good ability to express oneself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Very good ability to express oneself well in spoken and written English
• Very good computer skills
It is advantageous if you have:
• Certification in ITIL
• Experience in project work within IT
• Experience in IT operations and management
