We are looking for an IT Support Technician for our client, the Swedish Courts Administration.
**Background**
In the IT Workplace unit, there is an IT support team consisting of five employees, including a team leader, who provide second-line IT support to 7,500 users of the Swedish Courts. The team is responsible for assisting the courts via phone or through cases in a case management system. There is now a need to appoint a consultant to this team.
The Swedish Courts have approximately 10,000 computers, 4,000 mobile phones, and 800 printers that are continuously updated and maintained, requiring constant adaptation of the support team to provide users with the best possible assistance. The team also handles various types of non-hardware-related support tasks. The team is located on-site at the Swedish Courts Administration's offices in Jönköping.
**Responsibilities of the Support Technician**
- Troubleshooting software and hardware
- Second-line support
- Documentation in the form of guides
**Competency Level**
- **Knowledge** - High competence in the field
- **Experience** - Several years of experience in the field (typically 4–8 years) and can work independently. Comfortable with the tasks and serves as a role model for colleagues at lower levels.
- **Leadership** - Works independently and can support colleagues in the field.
- **Independence** - Can work independently
**Mandatory Requirements**
Must have competency level 3 as a support technician and:
- a) Experience in IT support in a support function.
- b) Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, as all communication and documentation is conducted in Swedish.
- c) Good knowledge of Windows
- d) Experience with Microsoft products

**Desirable Qualifications**
- Experience working in another government agency
