The IT department is engaged in exciting development work, with several major reforms that combine technological renewal, process improvements, and skills development.
In our system development, we use - to name a few - distributed microservice architecture, container platform, Java, JavaScript frameworks, MQ, and SpringBoot.
We work with both in-house and standard systems, and right now we are building a completely new system support for the Study Support for Career Change.

Job Responsibilities
Would you like to contribute to developing and maintaining societally important IT operations? We are seeking an engaged IT specialist who wants to work in an environment where technology meets social benefit.
As an IT specialist in the IT department, you will have a central role by driving, planning, and following up work within our IT development. You will function as the link between operations and IT, focusing on translating the organization's needs into concrete IT solutions and ensuring that development occurs structurally and with the right priorities.
The role includes planning, coordinating, and following up activities within IT development and management. You will collaborate closely with the operations to capture needs, requirements, and improvement suggestions, and support the development team in daily work.
As an IT specialist, you will participate in prioritizing and planning development initiatives with operations representatives and act as a communication support between different parts of the organization and external partners.
You will coordinate and follow up ongoing projects and assignments to ensure our deliveries are achieved.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• Academic education or equivalent work experience that the employer considers relevant for the assignment,
• Several years of current experience in planning, management, coordination, and follow-up in IT development,
• Several years of current experience working closely with operations and IT to develop and implement solutions that support organizational needs,
• Very good Swedish language skills in speech and writing,
• Good English language skills.
It is meritorious if you have:
• Experience with IT work in state or other public operations,
• Experience with agile work methodologies,
• Experience working with planning tools Jira or Confluence.
You collaborate well with others and contribute to an open and constructive work climate. At the same time, you work independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and dare to act based on your own conviction. You are structured, plan and prioritize your work efficiently, and maintain good order even when the pace is high.
