As the IT Security Manager, you will be part of a large machinery and be responsible for designing solutions as well as maintaining the governance that constitutes the overall IT security. IT operates across the county and is meant to support all the region's activities. With over 10,000 users, 50 major operational systems, 400 medium and smaller systems, over 8,000 workplaces, and the requirement for 24/7 production, you will play a crucial role in piecing together the puzzle and enabling the future of healthcare. Our IT Support and Services area has a comprehensive responsibility to coordinate the region's IT and digitalization efforts. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon. **IT Security Manager for IT Support and Services, Region Västernorrland** **Responsibilities** As the IT Security Manager, you will be part of a professional and dedicated team with strong forward momentum. You will have an important role in our work to design and implement future IT support for an organization with a high pace of digitalization. You will collaborate with professionals in various areas of responsibility and participate in different decision-making processes to ensure that various IT implementations adhere to our security principles and guidelines. As the IT Security Manager, you are specifically responsible for ensuring that current and future IT support meets requirements related to IT security. You will work closely with IT specialists in IT security, the person responsible for information security, legal advisors, architects, business developers, and management leaders to continuously support our management objects and ensure that IT security is consistently considered in the design and management of new and existing IT solutions. Your role includes, among other things: - Reviewing existing IT security-specific non-functional requirements for in-house developed and purchased systems or integrations. - Establishing and maintaining capabilities and competencies within IT security and cyber risks. - Proactively working on security-enhancing activities related to IT services. - Collaborating with IT suppliers. - Continuously educating yourself in relevant areas. - Being responsible for monitoring developments in the relevant field. - Creating and maintaining governing principles and guidelines related to IT security. - Participating in projects to ensure IT security in design and implementation. - Acting as a resource in processes related to IT architecture governance. - Disseminating knowledge and acting in an advisory capacity. The work location will be in Sundsvall, Härnösand, Sollefteå, or Örnsköldsvik, as agreed upon with the hiring manager. **Qualifications** We are looking for someone who: - Has an academic background in computer science or a related field, or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways that we consider comparable. - Has previous experience in areas described in the advertisement. - Has experience working in complex organizations. - Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. - Holds a valid B driver's license. It is advantageous if you: - Have certifications or documented expertise in tools and systems relevant to the field of IT security, such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft SC-100. - Have substantial experience from a similar role. - Have leadership experience. - Have deep knowledge of attack vectors, threat modeling, detection methods, and the implementation of regulatory and organizational requirements. - Have knowledge of network security, container security, zero trust, or secure development. - Are familiar with ISO27002, NIST800:53, GDPR, NIS/NIS2, Open Security Architecture, or CIS Controls. - Have experience working with Microsoft security products.
