Choose Telge – here you can combine business acumen with social benefit, and as an employee, you will enjoy freedom with responsibility and the opportunity to make an impact.
Here’s what Peter Gustafsson, the hiring manager, says about the role:
“As an IT Project Manager, you will be the bridge between our IT suppliers and the business. This requires flexibility and decisiveness. You will be part of a positive team where we support each other!”
Responsibilities and Competence Requirements
As an IT Project Manager in the Business Support unit, you will work on implementing IT systems or IT functionalities across the various operations of Telge Bostäder. Examples include systems for property management, project management, document management, and BI. In the future, we anticipate that several of our processes will be supported by AI. Many systems are delivered by the municipal group’s shared IT function, but we also have systems that we have procured ourselves. The role also involves providing support within the company for existing systems, including management and user support.
A common scenario is that the central IT function rolls out a new system across all companies in the group, and you will then become the sub-project manager for the implementation at Telge Bostäder. The need for new or modified systems may also arise internally from Telge Bostäder as part of ongoing business development.
As an IT Project Manager with us, you will have many internal and external contacts and participate in several planning and project meetings. This is a dynamic role that includes project management, testing, training, management, support, and documentation.
For the role of IT Project Manager, you need to have extensive IT experience and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with various systems that you may not have encountered before. You are also required to have or acquire an understanding of the work processes that the IT system or IT functionality is intended to support.
As previously mentioned, you will shift between acting as a project manager, tester, manager, and trainer. Most often, you will work independently towards a goal, with an expected delivery on an agreed date. To succeed in this, you need to have a high capacity for self-leadership, be a person who seeks knowledge, and have an ease in contacting and communicating with others, who may have varying degrees of IT maturity.
A background in the IT industry is an advantage, as is knowledge of how the real estate industry operates. If you have worked in the public housing sector, we see that as valuable experience.
Here’s what you are like as a person and colleague:
• Communicative, solution-oriented, and structured.
• Efficient and enjoys collaborating.
• Methodical and capable of managing multiple parallel tasks simultaneously.
• As a person, you are open, straightforward, personable, and courageous – values that align with Telge's core values.
• Excellent command of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Strong proficiency in the Office suite.
