About this role

We are looking for a Project Manager for Master Data at the Transport Authority in Stockholm. This is a consulting assignment. The position is full-time. The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which demands a high level of flexibility and teamwork. Assignment The role involves working as a project manager and business architect responsible for establishing and further developing a master data area. The work includes driving the project from initiation to delivery, coordinating stakeholders, conducting needs and process analyses, and ensuring that the master data solution is tailored to the organization's needs, processes, and existing system environment. The role requires strong communication skills, change management capabilities, requirements specification, and architectural understanding, as well as responsibility for ensuring that the solution supports data quality, governance, and security. Responsibilities - Lead the project from initiation to delivery according to set goals, timelines, and budget. - Adapt and specify requirements for the architecture of the master data platform delivered centrally. - Conduct needs and process analyses to identify information flows and tailor them for the organization. - Coordinate requirements specification and dialogue with key stakeholders in the organization. - Ensure that the platform integrates with existing systems and supports data quality, governance, and security. - Contribute to the development of documentation such as governing documents. - Communicate the project's progress, results, and change impacts to management and the organization. Requirements (Mandatory) - At least nine (9) years of documented work experience as a project manager for IT and business development projects, including at least 3 years responsible for implementation projects. - At least four (4) years of documented work experience in the role of Change Manager. - At least one (1) year of work experience leading the implementation of BI systems and/or master data management. - At least four (4) years of work experience in the public sector/authority. - Documented experience from two (2) different organizations that are regulatory governed. - Documented experience from at least two (2) different assignments for organizations with at least 500+ employees where the consultant has been responsible for requirements specification and coordinating system integrations and mapping information flows between systems. - Worked at least four (4) years in an agile team with stand-ups, boards, and co-creation of documents in tools such as Jira, Confluence. - At least two (2) assignments in the last five (5) years in complex IT environments in organizations with at least 500 employees, with many stakeholders and system dependencies. - Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious - Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR). - At least one (1) year of work experience managing or specifying payroll systems related to onboarding. - Experience working for a region or any administration within a region where you have gained experience in the region's process and decision-making flows. Takes responsibility for their own and the team's work throughout the implementation cycle. - Driven – takes initiative to push activities forward. - Communication skills – to collaborate with other technical teams and provide user support and training. - Project management skills – to effectively manage time, resources, and requirements during the implementation phase. - Structured – works methodically to achieve results through prioritization and note-taking, specifying requirements for all stakeholders. - Continuous progress – consistently moves forward with their work with the help of the team. - Solution-oriented – offers concrete suggestions on how we can work forward. Does not get stuck on problems. - Problem-solving ability – strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. - Co-creation – works openly together on ongoing materials, does not work alone on their documents or sit alone in the office. - Documentation – all documents produced should be continuously shared and updated on a common collaboration space, ensuring that the handover after the assignment is straightforward.
