About the Role
We are looking for an IT Consultant specializing in networks and systems to work in a technically advanced and international environment.
As a consultant, you will participate in both Swedish and international projects and be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing clients’ IT infrastructures. You will act as a key technical advisor, ensuring stability, security, and performance in networks and systems.
The role involves travel within Sweden as well as to other EU and Nordic countries.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, install, and maintain network and system solutions with strong focus on utilizing automation and AI in doing so
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot network devices och systems (switches, routers, firewalls)
• Manage and optimize load balancing using F5 BIG-IP
• Troubleshoot network and application issues using tools such as Wireshark and other relevant analysis tools
• Provide technical consulting, support, and documentation for clients in Sweden and internationally
• Participate in implementation and migration projects on client sites
• Ensure network performance, reliability, and security compliance
Your Profile
• Cisco CCNA certification – required
• Cisco CCNP certification – merit
• ITIL®4 Foundation certification - merit
• CompTIA Network+ certfication - required
• F5 BIG-IP certification or experience – required
• 2–3 years of experience in network or system administration - required
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP) - required
• Has AI pipeline development experience in network incident response and insider threat detection using Genetic Programming and unsupervised ML models – required
• Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar – required
• Experience and knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) – required
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments - required
• Fluent English (spoken and written) – required
• Swedish (spoken and written) – merit
• Flexible and willing to travel within Sweden and to EU/Nordic countries - required
• Driver’s license (B) – required
