Your Role: As an IT Architect for Digital Workplace within Saab's IT department, you will act as the spider in the web, coordinating the overall architecture. You will support and guide teams in their missions, participate in future planning, and contribute to keeping Digital Workplace at the forefront of technology. As an IT Architect, you are responsible for ensuring that IT solutions are designed and implemented correctly according to regulatory requirements, business needs, and in relation to other IT solutions. You will ensure compliance with the company's overarching architecture principles and standards guidelines in the technical architecture, making informed choices to create maximum value for the business. Your tasks will include, among others: - Analyzing requirements and needs assessments. - Designing and presenting various solution proposals based on the needs assessment. - Acting as an expert and supporting technicians, Service Managers, and Service Owners. - Creating decision-making materials for both business decisions and technical choices. - Ensuring that requirements, regulations, laws, processes, and standards are adhered to in the technical solutions developed. - Documenting solutions. - Presenting and communicating solutions to different target groups and in various forums. Your Profile: We are looking for someone who can navigate between detail and the big picture. You can communicate and explain scenarios to various audiences. You thrive in working independently and can manage yourself; you will have the freedom to act within a framework that allows you to best solve the tasks at hand. You are unpretentious and enjoy working in a team where knowledge is shared and support is given to one another. You have a background in the Infrastructure area and a strong interest in security. Experience with service design, IT architecture across multiple levels, and modeling is a plus but not a requirement. The position is based in one of the following locations: Linköping, Stockholm, or Gothenburg. A hybrid workplace is possible, and travel nationally and internationally may occur. To succeed in the role, we would like you to have: - Worked with IT for at least 5 years, preferably in a defined architectural role. - Excellent analytical skills with problem-solving ability. - Outstanding communication skills in both Swedish and English. Desirable skills and experiences include: - Holding one or more Microsoft, Google, or AWS certifications. - Experience working with client or communication solutions where the focus is on the end user and the experience. - Worked within DevOps or cross-functional teams. - Experience with hybrid and cloud solutions. - Previous work with regulatory or security requirements. The position requires passing security clearance in accordance with current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, citizenship may also be a requirement.
