What Does the Role Entail?
As an IT Architect, you are responsible for ensuring the city's network environment and infrastructure are secure, modern, and future-proof. You will drive strategy, development, and management – with responsibility for budget, orders, follow-up, and continuous service improvement.
- Develop and manage the city's network architecture and ensure its long-term development.
- Lead planning, prioritization, and implementation of infrastructure changes.
- Establish and follow up on budget and ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Order and follow up on deliveries from internal and external suppliers.
- Define requirements and quality-assure network solutions in procurement and projects.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security in network services.
- Conduct environmental monitoring and propose technical improvements and innovations.
- Serve as a contact point and advisor for operations on network and IT infrastructure issues.
Who Are You?
We are seeking someone with a combination of strategic thinking and technical depth. You have the ability to see the big picture while translating ideas into concrete results.
- Relevant university degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience as an IT Architect or technically responsible for networks/infrastructure.
- Experience driving change or development projects in IT.
- Good experience in defining requirements, following up, and communicating with suppliers and operations.
- Ability to express yourself well verbally and in writing in Swedish.
As a person, you are structured, responsible, and solution-oriented. You collaborate easily but also enjoy taking your own initiatives and driving issues forward.
