About this role

Ref: 20252581 Do you want to help create safety for Malmö's residents, every day? We are seeking someone who wants to lead, support, and create structure in an operation where technology and care meet. In our unit, an engaged team of IT administrators and technicians work on emergency alarms and installations, an operation that makes a difference for many Malmö residents. We are now looking for a present leader who can hold together daily operations, drive work forward, and contribute to a good collaborative climate. With us, you will have an important role in a context characterized by commitment, cooperation, and the desire to create value for others. About the Assignment As an IT administrator with management responsibility, you will become the hub of daily operations. You will lead the operational work on-site, follow up on routines and workflows, and ensure that the group works systematically, efficiently, and with shared goals. The role is just as much about people as it is about structure. You create safety and clarity in everyday life, support colleagues when challenges arise, and ensure that communication works both within the group and with other units. You will function as the link between IT administrators, technicians, and management. You do not have formal management responsibilities, but you are the one who coordinates the work, and together with your manager, you keep the whole together and ensure that the group reaches its goals. This is an assignment for someone who thrives close to operations, who likes a broad mandate, and who sees the joy in helping others succeed. With us, you will have the opportunity to influence, improve, and contribute to a work environment where people grow. Main Work Tasks • Lead and follow up on the daily work of administrators and technicians. • Ensure that routines, structure, and responsibility allocation work in practice. • Support colleagues in prioritization, planning, and problem-solving. • Drive improvement work on work methods, system use, and efficiency. • Promote good communication and collaboration within the group and with other units. Qualifications • Relevant post-secondary education. • At least 3 years of experience in a leading or coordinating function. • Experience working in IT, technology, or care. • Good Swedish skills, both spoken and written. Meritorious • Experience with business development. • Interest in digital development and welfare technology. Personal Qualities You are a secure and present leader who creates engagement and participation. By being clear and attentive, you get people to work towards the same goals and take responsibility for shared objectives. You have good self-awareness and meet others with respect and stability, even when the pace is high or situations are challenging. You communicate clearly and directly, ensure expectations are clear, and follow up in a way that helps others succeed. You collaborate well with different people, build trust, and solve problems constructively. At the same time, you work systematically, plan ahead, and keep track of both details and the big picture. You lead with care, clarity, and focus on creating results together with others.
