About the Position We are seeking educators for Iris's Vocational Introduction program for sign language users at our operations in Stockholm. The target group for this program is deaf and severely hearing-impaired individuals who are job seekers, considering further education, or starting their own businesses. Your Responsibilities The target group for this assignment consists of deaf and severely hearing-impaired individuals who rely on sign language for communication and require tailored interventions to obtain employment. As an educator, you will work on planning, documentation, and implementation of supportive measures to help participants achieve their goals. This includes study and career guidance, motivational interventions such as individual coaching, teaching, and workshops. As an educator, you will also be involved in planning, securing, and following up on work trial and internship placements. You will have a team of colleagues with extensive experience and expertise in tailored educational interventions to support you. Your Profile We are looking for someone with experience working with the target group of deaf and severely hearing-impaired individuals. Since the position is conducted in Swedish sign language, we seek someone who is fully proficient in Swedish sign language. A prerequisite is that you have experience in planning and coordinating activating and motivating interventions, documented experience guiding individuals towards studies and employment, experience in securing work trial and internship placements, and possess digital competence. Knowledge of the target group is essential for you to work with us. You have a knack for establishing contact and maintaining relationships as you are attentive and smooth in communication. At the same time, you can influence by creating engagement and motivating others. You are flexible and can adapt when the conditions of tasks change, while also taking responsibility for your assignments and achieving the participant's goals and Iris's objectives. We emphasize personal suitability for the position. It is an advantage if you are multilingual. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who meets one of the following criteria: * At least one (1) year of experience in the last five years working full-time or part-time (at least 50% of full-time) guiding adults or young adults aged 16-25 towards work and studies, and at least one (1) year of experience in the last five years working full-time or part-time (at least 50% of full-time) with activating and motivating interventions (see module 3) for the target group of deaf and severely hearing-impaired individuals who rely on sign language for communication. * Ability to communicate fluently in sign language and have at least one (1) year of experience in the last five years working full-time or part-time (at least 50% of full-time) with the target group of deaf and severely hearing-impaired individuals who rely on sign language for communication, and at least one (1) year of experience in the last five years working full-time or part-time (at least 50% of full-time) integrating individuals with disabilities into the workforce and providing conditions for job seekers to find, obtain, and retain employment.
