About this role
We are looking for an iOS Developer for Traveler-Centric Services for a government agency within transportation. This is a consulting assignment. The location is Stockholm. The position is full-time. The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which requires a high degree of flexibility and teamwork.
**The Assignment**
The role involves working as a senior iOS developer in an agile app team to further develop and maintain an existing mobile application. You will work closely with another iOS developer, conducting ongoing code reviews, and collaborating cross-functionally with developers, architects, designers, and other stakeholders within the organization. The work takes place within an established team structure with several specialist roles and requires a strong ability to contribute to both new development and further development within the existing architecture. The working language is Swedish.
**Responsibilities**
- Further develop and maintain the existing iOS application
- Work in an established agile team with product owners, Android and iOS developers, testers, UX designers, team coaches, and group managers
- Conduct ongoing code reviews with another iOS developer
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other iOS developers within the organization
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders from various parts of the organization
**Requirements (Mandatory)**
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
- At least five (5) years of relevant work experience in full-time iOS development
- At least four (4) years of work experience actively developing in Swift, including a minimum of 2 years of experience in SwiftUI. The experience must include work with advanced features in Swift, such as generics, error handling, memory management, concurrency with async/await, and advanced UI composition in SwiftUI.
- At least six (6) months of work experience actively developing iOS applications with at least 100,000 users.
- Experience participating in at least two (2) projects where technical solutions directly led to measurable improvements, and having held a key role in at least one of these projects. Examples of improvements may include reducing app loading time by at least 25%, making 20% of the app fully accessible according to WCAG AA, increasing app stability by at least 30% (reducing crash rate), or improving user ratings by at least one full point in app stores after an update.
- At least two (2) years of work experience in app development with a focus on accessibility (e.g., WCAG, VoiceOver).
- At least one (1) iOS assignment with experience in pair programming and code review.
- At least two (2) years of post-secondary education in IT or equivalent.
**Meritorious**
- At least 6 months of work experience driving or contributing to strategic technology choices and innovation initiatives within app development.
- At least 6 months of work experience working alongside other iOS developers in an agile team.
- At least 2 years of work experience with Figma or similar design tools, such as Abstract, Sketch, or Zeplin.
- At least 2 years of work experience working systematically with Git.
