The Social Services - Economic Assistance division within the Labor Market Administration consists of reception, six investigation units, administration and service, and operational support.
The division's main task is to support individuals toward self-sufficiency and investigate the right to economic assistance in both new and ongoing cases.
The agency conducts development projects and continuously works on method development. Our task is to ensure legal certainty, provide good treatment, and support self-sufficiency.
Job Responsibilities
As an introduction coordinator, you will support new arrivals assigned to the municipality through various reception forms (ABO/Quota, LMA, and Mass Displacement). Your mission is to ensure functional housing and introduction in the municipality.
Work tasks include:
• Receiving, documenting, and handling referrals from authorities within established timeframes
• Planning and participating in the reception of people assigned to the municipality
• Maintaining lists and updating registers
• Ordering furniture
• Managing keys
• Coordinating with various internal and external actors
You are also expected to participate in the unit's ongoing work, monitor incoming emails, and collaborate closely with colleagues, group leaders, and unit managers.
Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with high school competence and experience working with new arrivals and individuals covered by the Mass Displacement Directive. To succeed in the role, you need experience with administrative work and documentation. The job requires excellent verbal and written Swedish skills. A valid driver's license (B-license) is also required.
We prefer candidates with motivational interviewing training and language skills beyond Swedish and English. Knowledge of the Housing Allocation Act and Social Services Act is considered advantageous. Familiarity with Lifecare and Excel is meritorious.
