JOB DUTIES

Personal Assistance
Here, you support adult clients in their own homes or elsewhere, and you often work alone. These clients have varying disabilities, which means their support needs differ. Many have significant care requirements.
LSS (Disability Support Services)
In LSS activities, you work supportively and instructively with a pedagogical approach to enable individuals to live with high quality of life and experience social participation. In our facilities - group homes, service apartments, and short-term stays - we have clients of varying ages with different needs, from individuals with mild disabilities requiring pedagogical support to those with severe disabilities with greater care needs. Some units include individuals with challenging behaviors and mental disabilities.
Elderly Care
Here, you provide care and support to the elderly in one of our nursing homes. The individual's needs determine the extent of service and care. You assist with daily tasks, activities, personal hygiene, and medication.
Home Care
In home care, you work in the client's home, primarily independently, though some tasks are performed with colleagues. You operate from your unit and follow routines describing the services to be performed for clients. You move between clients by bicycle or car, and the work pace can sometimes be intense.
You will perform medical tasks delegated by a nurse and work both independently and in teams. To work in our facilities, you must be able to present a valid criminal record check.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
• 18 years or older
• Strong Swedish language skills, verbal and written
• Good computer skills
• Driving license required for home care positions
Preferred:
• Certified nursing assistant or support assistant
• Started training as a nursing assistant or similar healthcare education
• Experience with the relevant target group
• Several years of work experience
