We Are Currently Seeking Flexible and Responsible Hourly Substitute Teachers for Our Preschool Classes, Schools (Grades 1-6), and Recreational Centers. In Your Application, Specify Which Facilities You Are Interested in Working In.
Working as an Hourly Substitute Means Replacing Regular Staff During Absences. Work Occurs Monday-Friday. Working Hours Vary - This Could Be a Few Hours per Day, a Full Day, or Longer Periods According to Schedule. Often, You Must Be Able to Step In on Short Notice.
If Hired as an Hourly Substitute, You Determine Your Own Available Days and Times. The More Available You Are, the Greater Your Chance of Getting Work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We Primarily Seek Candidates with Appropriate Education for the Positions.
• For Preschool/Recreational Center Work: Qualified Preschool Teachers, Recreational Center Teachers, or Child Care Workers (Child and Leisure Program or Equivalent)
• For School Work (Grades 1-6): Qualified Teachers
If You Lack the Specified Qualifications But Want to "Try" School Work, You Can Do So for a Limited Period (300 Days). This Requires Approved High School Grades in Core Subjects (Swedish, Math, English, Social Studies) and Strong Swedish Language Skills in Both Speaking and Writing.
The Work Requires You to Be Responsible, Flexible, and Demonstrate Good Interaction with Both Students and Colleagues.

To Work in Preschool, School, Youth, and Leisure Activities, You Must, According to Law, Submit a Police Register Extract. You Must Request This Extract from the National Police Board Using the "Police Register Extract" Form Available on Their Website.
